Thank you for visiting this page about our autobiography, Gotta Die to Live. These 40 years of marriage have been an amazing trip together. They have also been a wonderful inner journey, where God has taken two ‘broken people’ and uniquely restored them. As you read our testimony may you be inspired to go further with God.
Gotta Die to Live was completed over the several months of Lockdown in 2020 however the story is the culmination of many years of trusting God to come through for us when things seemed impossible. The Lord has often given us valuable prophetic insights which have anchored us in stormy seas. One of these has been the promise that He would use us to “reach thousands … no millions, for Christ through media.”
However these words had to be prayed through and acted upon. Through faith and by His grace we were able to start the Cross Rhythms media and radio ministry which has touched so many lives. God has also led us into other exciting Kingdom projects and as we have walked the journey there have been many lessons to be learnt and wounds to be healed.
John 12:24 says, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.”
Gotta Die to Live
In Gotta Die to Live we share openly about the personal challenges we have been through. We do this because we have a passion to see new generations come into an authentic Christian faith with an unfolding revelation of God as their perfect Father through Christ. If we can do this as a loving mum and dad in the house, we will have achieved our objective to strengthen and liberate spiritual sons and daughters into their divine destiny.
Our walk is not just an emptying of self; there are so many joys and wonders in living this life with our Creator yet we are not on this earth for our pleasure but for His glory. We do find our life as we lay it down! Join us on this transforming journey.
We thank God for the three beautiful daughters He has blessed us with, along with many precious spiritual children. We love living in the South West of England by the sea which is so conducive to writing. It is our privilege to continue to speak on Christian radio and television and in churches, offering practical spiritual advice on the importance of relationships especially in the family.
